the prime wheeljack issue
ok first of i like transformers prime. alot.
and i know im not alone in that regard, alot of people like it, its a good show.
but im hearing alot of complaints about wheeljack, thats right this guy.
every one is complaining. everything from “he’s not that faithful to his G1 self” to “OMG!!! THATS NOT WHEELJACK!!! STOP RAPING MY CHILDHOOD!!!1!1”
you know what guys he’s closer then you think. let me try and break it down for you.
1st. yes he is a scientist. there are hints of this in the episode Loose Cannon, where he claims he can defuse bombs like nobody’s business and refers to the bomb dreadwing planted as a work of art.
there’s even more proof of this when in the book Transformers Exiles where he team up with alpha trion to transport a bot named chaindrive across time and space to meet with Optimus Prime. the enter technology part was his idea.
as for the combat wrecker swordsmen badass angle it does remind me of another incarnation of wheeljack, a very hard nosed sword using wheeljack. this guy.
as far as i can tell they combined the already love wheeljack and melded him with a not well known counterpart.
yeah sure hes not this guy.
he will never be that guy. but thats ok, this is not G1.
they dumbed down bulkhead to, im a little sore about that but thats ok.
and in the end, i think we can all agree, at least hes nothing like this guy.
